Fishing as I Lived It: An entertaining autobiography of a fatherless kid who grew up learning about fishing Customer Reviews
:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from neilmos -- Great American story from days gone by : I’ve never met the author personally, Paul, but I’ve fished in tournaments with him and on the same beaches along side him in NE Florida. I was thrilled to read a book so well written by a local angler in my area. This is so much more than a book about fishing. This is a fascinating and captivating story into the lifetime of a very interesting man and great angler. Paul’s writings cut straight to the great art of storytelling that is often lost in modern writing. I’m a man nearing 40 and this book brought me back to my childhood and kind of reminded me of reading the stories of “where the red fern grows” and my side of the mountain”. Well done Paul! Must read! Tight lines ( Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2021 )
